The hydraulic accumulator safety block HSB-06 is used for prescribed protection and relief of hydraulic systems with pressure accumulators.
The design as size 6 attachment plate enables installation in vertical stacking systems without the need for pipework. Additional functions such as (throttle) check valves can be easily added using standard intermediate plates. Internal connection of channels A, B and P provides additional connection options, e.g. for the pressure accumulator, for consumer/test connections, etc. The direct-controlled pressure relief valve is type-tested and can be preset before delivery.
Various options are available:
Pressure relief manual (with drain plug) or electrical (via solenoid seat valve) as well as Minimess® connection in P.
Safety instructions for type-tested safety valves in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC
According to PED 97/23/EC, the increase in system pressure due to the flow rate must not exceed 10% of the set response pressure. Attention! The system pressure increases by the counterpressure in the blow-off line (port "T") due to the increasing flow rate. Before ordering a valve with type-examination certificate, it must be ensured that the maximum permissible flow rate qVmax of the safety valve at the desired response pressure p is greater than the maximum possible flow rate of the system to be protected. The application range for the HSB-06 can be found in the diagram on the data sheet. The specified maximum permissible flow rate qVmax must not be exceeded. Blow-off lines of safety valves must discharge safely.

Removal of the seal on the valve invalidates the approval in accordance with the PED!
