Proportional pressure control valve by WEBER-HYDRAULIK

Konstanz, 14. Februar 2020   Pressure relief valves are primarily used to protect systems from overload. The task of the pressure control valve, on the other hand, is to regulate the operating pressure of a system that is applied to an actuator, and to compensate for fluctuations in pressure. In a 3-way pressure control valve, the function of a pressure control valve and a pressure relief valve are combined.

WEBER-HYDRAULIK’s 3-way proportional pressure control valve EPDRD3 in size 05, is a direct operated valve in spool design. It regulates an actuator pressure of up to 315 bar, proportional to the solenoid current. If the pressure on the actuator side is exceeded, the pressure limiting function of the valve is applied. The valve is fast, precise, and low vibration. The hardened and polished valve components minimize wear and guarantee a long service life.

WEBER-HYDRAULIK proportional pressure control valves stand out in the market due to their very low leakage and their particularly low minimum pressure of 0.3 bar. These parameters make the valve ideal for low-loss hydraulic systems that require the lowest possible preload pressure, such as clamping or braking systems, pilot control functions, or static contact pressure systems.
