WEBER employees become Santa’s helpers

To give the gift of joy at Christmas this year, our Güglingen and Konstanz sites once again held a wish tree campaign. This involves a Christmas tree with wishes from needy children, senior citizens and refugees from the surrounding area. The special feature of the campaign is that not only the company itself fulfills the wishes, but also the employees. In this way, more than 60 Christmas wishes could be fulfilled by people who do not have the means to do so themselves.

As in previous years, Mrs. Monika Hamann, head of the family center in Güglingen, was responsible for arranging the wishes of the needy children from Güglingen and the surrounding area. On Thursday, 16.12.2021, our trainees handed over the gifts to Mrs. Hamann and Mrs. Koch (head of the main office) in the town hall of Güglingen.

On Wednesday, 15.12.2021 the lovingly wrapped gifts were handed over to the representative of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt, Mrs. Zahide Sarikas in Konstanz. Mrs. Sarikas from Project Xenia, a project to support refugee women in Konstanz, knows the material need on site and knows that many children or adults would have had no or only a small gift under the Christmas tree.

The gifts will be delivered to the needy in the regions in the coming days so that they reach the recipients in time for Christmas.

Our trainees in Güglingen lovingly decorated the wish trees and presented the gifts to Mrs. Hamann (Head of the Family Center) and Mrs. Koch (Head of the Main Office) in the town hall.
