The Paul Meyle School in Heilbronn, an all-day school with a special educational mission, held its annual sports day on 07 July for the first time since the Corona Pandemic.

At various stations with different topics and focuses, the pupils could playfully train their skills and had a lot of fun.

Organised by the Youth and Trainee Representation, 15 of our trainees took over the set-up and dismantling as well as the supervision of the stations and the catering on site. At the end of the event, a barbecue was held for and with the more than 100 participants, consisting of students, supervisors and teachers.

“The aim and purpose of the activity was for the children to exercise in the fresh air in the school garden and get away from the usual routine at school. Our support of social institutions and the responsibility that goes with it should not just be written on paper, but actively experienced and lived,” says Elena Brell (Head of Commercial Training and Study Programmes) who supported on site together with Christopher Aldinger and Selin Yagar.

A big thank you to all the helpers for their great cooperation!
