Excellent training at WEBER-HYDRAULIK in Güglingen

DUALIS certification with top grades

Güglingen, 15 November 2023. The IHK DUALIS certificate is awarded to companies with above-average training standards. With the successful second re-audit, WEBER-HYDRAULIK GmbH received the certificate for the third time in five years. The company’s early contact with potential junior staff as well as the passion and diversity of ideas of the training management were particularly emphasized. The certificate was handed over after the audit day in the summer.

Thorough and high-quality training has always been an integral part of WEBER-HYDRAULIK’s corporate culture. This has now been confirmed once again by the DUALIS certification from the Heilbronn-Franken Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “We are proud of this award, which encourages us to maintain and continuously improve our training strategy,” says Christine Grotz, CEO and managing partner of the group of companies. In addition to the actual training content, the jury also evaluated the strategies for recruiting new trainees, the onboarding process, as well as the exam preparation phase and the hiring process after successful completion of the training at the Güglingen site.

Successful at all stages of training

The actual audit took place in July 2023. The auditors spent a full day at the company’s site in Güglingen. In addition to an assessment of the training facilities, the program included interviews with the training managers and trainees. “The jury particularly highlighted our diverse measures for recruiting trainees, which begin with our cooperation with kindergartens,” said Christopher Aldinger, head of industrial training at the Güglingen site. “Our comprehensive pre-boarding and onboarding processes and the support we provide during the apprenticeship were also praised. Pre-boarding includes a barbecue evening with parents, trainers and apprentices from the higher apprenticeship years before the actual start of training. Future apprentices can also take part in excursions organized by the older apprentices and receive a comprehensive information letter before they start their careers. Onboarding takes place during an induction week, which consists of various training sessions, a company tour, a company rally and many other events.

“We are particularly pleased that the high level of commitment, the appreciation of the family character and the high value placed on training in our company were explicitly emphasized in the assessment,” says Heike Bauseler, Head of Human Resources at the WEBER-HYDRAULIK Group. “This and the consistently high retention rate of over 95% show that we are on the right track.
