WEBER-HYDRAULIK takes stock: innovative strength in agricultural technology

Agritechnica 2023

Güglingen, 23 November 2023.  From November 12th to 18th, WEBER-HYDRAULIK presented its hydraulic solutions for agriculture at AGRITECHNICA in Hannover. This year’s world-leading trade fair for agricultural technology was dedicated to the theme of sustainability under the motto “Green Productivity”. Frank Schlosser, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer of the WEBER-HYDRAULIK Group, draws a positive conclusion.

2,812 exhibitors from 52 countries and more than 470,000 visitors from 149 countries resulted in a record result for the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural technology. “We are both thrilled and overwhelmed. AGRITECHNICA was a complete success for us. Together with our customers, we were able to have many interesting conversations and also discuss megatrends. Already today, we offer solutions for the requirements of tomorrow and are working hard to develop innovative, tailor-made hydraulic solutions for and with our customers in the future,” summarizes Frank Schlosser. “The signs in agriculture clearly point to sustainability, both for companies and end customers. We met an audience that not only supports sustainability, but actively demands it. Products that are sustainable due to their manufacturing process as well as their specific function are becoming increasingly important.”

At WEBER-HYDRAULIK GMBH, in addition to sustainability measures along the supply chain and in production, a concrete sustainable effect of the products is also emphasized. One of the goals of the corporate group, which focuses on sustainability as one of six areas of action, is to become CO2-neutral in the coming years. At the present time, almost 70% of the energy for the operational and production facilities is already sourced from renewable sources. On the product side, the specific effects of the hydraulic components contribute to sustainability. For example, vibration dampers in tractor driver cabins minimize material wear and thus the need for repairs. Cylinders and control blocks in belt track systems for agricultural machinery reduce soil compaction and thus make an active contribution to environmental protection.

“The AGRITECHNICA 2023 has definitely confirmed our course,” summarizes Frank Schlosser.
